The Fortify Challenge will jump start your healthy, positive lifestyle.
Fortify means to strengthen mentally and physically. These six weeks will get you out of your comfort zone, but you’ll find a balance amongst nutrition and fitness without restricting and/or overdoing yourself, while working on your mindset and self-improvement.
The goals of the Challenge:
- Set one fitness goal for the six-weeks (ex. improve my running, get to the gym three days a week, increase the amount of weight I can lift, etc.)
- Set one nutrition goal for the six-weeks (ex. eat two serving of vegetables a day, cut soda out, add a multi-vitamin daily, etc.) If you are choosing to follow a nutrition program, this is acceptable, although make sure you are not putting yourself at a deficit to complete this challenge to reduce the Yo-Yo effect.
- Complete 15 minutes of self improvement each day (ex. read a book and/or listen to a book or podcast that is inspirational and motivational to help build your self-esteem, develop a new mindset, help you attain personal/professional goals, etc.)
- Drink one gallon of water each day
- Complete 60 minutes of activity each day (ex. walking, running, HIIT, biking, hiking, etc.)
- Take a progress photo every seven days in the morning when you wake (Take a pre-photo on Day 1 and then each blue day on the Challenge image)
- You may have ONE cheat meal and/or consume alcohol in moderation every seven days (These are the days in blue on the Challenge image)
*Begin on the day AFTER, you prefer to have your cheat days (ex. If you want to enjoy Saturday evenings with family/friends, your Day 1 needs to be on a Sunday. All cheat days will fall on the same day for the six weeks. Day 1 is not a Cheat Day, ONLY the days in blue.
